Bring a character into
Astral Avatars

Enter a public D&D Beyond character link or ID. We request the public snapshot on the server and send it to your DM for review. If D&D Beyond declines the request, you can upload an authorized JSON file instead.

Bring your character into the campaign

No JSON copy and paste. Your DM still reviews every section before you can play.

Public character link or ID Use a public HTTPS character link or numeric ID. No D&D Beyond sign-in is requested. Expected character name (optional) A name verifies the result; it cannot search D&D Beyond. A link or ID identifies the character.

Public retrieval depends on D&D Beyond's availability and access rules. Private characters, blocked requests, and redirects are not bypassed.

Character portrait D&D Beyond snapshots do not supply a reusable portrait. Choose, center, and zoom the image you want to use.

I confirm that I own or am authorized to submit this character snapshot for this campaign.

Private source data is erased after approval, denial, or withdrawal.
